Named for co-owners Angela Sinicropi and Marty Takigawa, Sintak Studio provides an ideal antidote to the typical cavernous, cold rental studio. Sintak features 14-foot ceilings with exposed redwood beams, warm sandblasted red brick walls and light maple wood floors, as well as full kitchen and bathroom. Housed in a single-unit building that was originally a bakery in the 1920s, the main shooting area is set back from the street, making it a quiet working environment. Photographer friends were constantly asking to use their studio and encouraging them to make it a rental space, so in 2003 they opened for business. "Photographers and their clients love the comfort and luxury of our space," say Sinicropi and Takigawa. Close to downtown, the airport, restaurants and photo supply stores, Sintak is located in the perfect area to serve all client and photographer needs. - Studio & Equipment Guide 2013
