The vibrant Savas sisters of photographer Stephanie and makeup artist Christine opened their unique Boston studio nine months ago, realizing a longtime dream. Finding a building that was completely gutted, they got to recreate the entire space as their brainchild. With exposed brick walls, high ceilings, hardwood floors and window light, the style here resembles a New York City loft and is noted for its versatility. A living room, kitchen, back alley and roof deck provide an array of shooting options, as does the entire North End neighborhood where the studio is located. A favorite part of the space is the makeup studio, which was influenced by Max Factor's makeup studio in a Hollywood museum. They also offer equipment rental, including Profoto Acute2 1200 pack with two heads and Profoto five-foot octobank, as well as seamlesses and backdrops.
