"I wanted to make a personal, chic, and inviting space that wasn’t just a white box," says MAPS President Paul Lardi, who opened MAPS studio almost 20 years ago. After starting out in the industry as a motor home company, MAPS has grown to become one of the leading full-service photo production companies in the U.S and has 2 studio venues in Miami. Located in the heart of Miami Beach's Art Deco District, MAPS Studio is a fusion of Asian-style elements and modern design, combining materials such as exposed cement and raw wood. Features include a 25x25 ft corner cyc wall, second story mezzanine level, and specialty in-house equipment rental including Breise, Profoto, Arri and Kino-flo. MAPS Backlot is the only outdoor shooting space of its kind.
