Surrounded by sunlight and great vibes in Tribeca, Capture Studio NYC opened as a rental eight years ago, inspired by the passions of photography and art. This gem of an authentic New York full-service space once housed the Steinway Piano factory, and they pride themselves on service and catering to the photographer's needs. Fifteen-foot ceilings and columns with a wood beam in the middle influenced the design here, but the most sought-after feature is likely its amazing curved 34'x 12'skylight with three floors, which gives Capture a signature southern exposure wrap-around light. It's no surprise their client list includes big names like Olay, Dove Chocolate, Aussie Hair, Pringles, Tide, Colgate, Viagra, Fox Sports and HBO, all of which recently had projects that were shot and produced at Capture. They offer retouching, print and web design, large format printing as well as production services, and they have partnered with K&M right around the corner for quick equipment rental needs. -- Studio Guide 2011
