To fill the void of daylight space in the Boston area, partners Angela Coppola and Paul Saraceno opened the bright, sunny California Street Studios three years ago. The layout provides great flexibility and openness, with the unobstructed light and 21 ft. cyc wall being Coppola's favorite features. Her many trips to New York spaces influenced the studio's design. "I drew upon the best and worst of what I had the opportunity to shoot in," she says. The 5000-square-foot facility has ceiling heights from 11.5 ft. to 12.5 ft., and three shooting areas that can be made into different configurations, making it ideal for product, fashion and catalog shoots. "We recently had a photographer in that had a set-up for stills on one side and onfigure in another and still had the space for staff and client area," Coppola says.
